Updates

Here are the updated belly shots and the nursery progress shots.

The belly is 22 weeks along. (We're over half-way there!) The nursery is a pale blue (hard to tell in the pics. I'll take some daytime pics after the furniture comes in). I think it will look really good with the black furniture against it. So far, it's just the lonely valance.

We order nursery furniture from Simply Baby Furniture next week. I have to measure everything and make sure I know where I want it all to go, but I think we're going with these 3 pieces:

I have now moved from the "freak-out" stage back into the "extremely- excited-I-can't-wait-until-he's-here-with-us" stage. Chad seems to stay in the latter stage -- lucky guy. I'm still waiting for his big freak-out, but it doesn't appear to be on the way. He does seem nervous about the actual delivery. Maybe he'll just have one big freak-out day.

Thanks (sooo much) for all of the comments and e-mails concerning my last post. I got some really great advice on products. I think I have a clearer picture on the whole breastfeeding/storage/pumping situation after reading some of the advice and talking to some moms. One way or another, Kicker will get fed! I have a much better idea of how we're going to handle the whole car seat situation as well. We couldn't do it without you guys!
