Can a person overdose on RhoGAM? If so, I think I would be a likely candidate.
I had another bleeding episode yesterday afterschool. It wasn't nearly as bad as the first two, but I had to go over to the hospital anyway. After being there for 3 hours, Chad decided to come on up. I kept telling him "I'm just waiting on the shot," but it was taking forever. I didn't want him to make the 30 min. drive right when they were finishing up with me. I was ready to tell him to eat without me, but he was already at the hospital. I was very thankful. They hooked me up and monitored everything for 6 HOURS. I was having contractions every once in awhile, but I couldn't feel anything. I was shocked when the nurse showed me the evidence on the monitor paper that feeds out.
Long story short, it took 6 hours to decide that yes, I have to have yet another shot of RhoGAM and that the sporadic contractions were likely a result of dehydration. No real reason why I would bleed again. Chad and I got home around 10:30 last night when we finally ate dinner.
They didn't put me on house rest, but I knew I needed a day to rest. I contemplated going in, but Chad said, "No, you need to be a mom tomorrow." He was right. I'm learning about putting family and important things before work. It's new territory after 32 years of taking care of myself!
Today was restful. I've gotten lots of sleep and I have been drinking water by the truckloads. No more issues since then. Another member of my teaching team is PWI (pregnant with issues) as well and she keeps telling me "We will get through this!" I'm trusting her on that one...it's nice to have some support from someone who knows what we're going through.
It's been a little emotional the past day, but things are going well again. Positive thoughts!
