So far, we are loving all of the fantastic parks and jog/bike trails. I managed to get lost jogging on a trail close to our neighborhood. I was intrigued and just kept going...I figured it would end somewhere. Unfortunately I had no idea where I was when I came out and I had to ask an elderly man walking his dog "Sammy" to point me back in the right direction. I've never had more fun getting lost! I'm pretty sure Santa needs to bring me a bike for Christmas...
We have about two weeks until football and school activities fire up. Graham will be starting at his new school, Montessori Rainbow School, on August 9th. I'm going to use that week to transition him before I start back full time. It will be difficult after having so much precious time with him, but I think he'll be excited to be around kids again!
We are looking forward to one last hoorah at the end of this month. Ma and Pa Finch and maybe even Aunt Rachel will be visiting next week. Then, we're hosting a coaches' get-together/baby shower for one of the coach's wives. It will give us a chance to meet all of our new football family.
I am very much looking forward to my new position as an RTI (Response to Intervention) Facilitator. They place 7 of these positions throughout the district at campuses where test scores aren't quite making the grade. Mostly, I look forward to working with students again.
We have been told over and over how much better the Jaguars defense is looking in the few months Chad has been working with them. Apparently, he is working them harder in the off season and holding the kids more accountable than has been the case in the past. Our offense is awesome, so it will be exciting to see a WHOLE team working hard this year!
And your video clip of Mr. Cuteness...Graham and his daddy love playing this hide and seek game right after bath and before bed.
