8 Months

Graham turned 8 months old last week. Everyone always said "enjoy it while it lasts," and "they grow up fast." It's so true. I can't believe he's already 8 months old.
He still isn't crawling but he has modified his technique. He no longer sidestrokes, but army crawls. Sometimes he gets up on his knees and rocks back and forth. He's getting faster.

He knows "no,no,no" and shakes his head back and forth when you say it. We're practicing "bye-bye" and patty cake these days. He loves playing peek-a-boo, also.

I was told by Graham's babysitter, Mrs. Karen, that he now holds his bottle and feeds himself. I still enjoy cuddling him for bottles, so I haven't even given him the chance to try! I can see that I am going to have to give him a little more independence now. He can hold his afternoon bottle...I still get mornings and bedtime :0).

I videotaped one of the ways Chad and Graham entertain themselves while I'm getting the bath ready.

We had a small cold spell down here...we got down to 19 degrees a couple of nights with highs in the 20's. I am definitely a cold weather wimp now. We were feeling kind of cooped up and Graham got a little cold. He's all better and we were sunny and in the mid 60's again today. Bring on the wagon and stroller rides! :0)
