BOY!
We found out today that Baby Haynes is officially a boy. I knew it! I knew from the moment I peed on the stick. I was letting dreams I'd had and other people sway me there for a little bit...I guess my motherly intuition was already kicking in.
Needless to say, we are extremely excited. We got a couple of cute video clips during our ultrasound and a couple of "boy" pics ("boyness" as the ultrasound tech labeled him) to share:
I believe that is the umbilical cord sticking up and his winky is down lower in this pic. Cute profile, huh?
I think he is yawning in the first video. I read that the art of "yawn" is mastered by this week. He is a kicking madman in the second video. We were laughing so hard. I couldn't feel him! It makes me wonder what he's doing in there when I can feel him!
So now we need to get serious about names and buying boy things. Several of Chad's coaching coworkers have suggested names such as "Bob" or "Robert" or "Stoops" after Bob Stoops, OU's head coach. (Sorry, dad, that's not happening). Chad's dad has suggest "Omar Leachman" a unique combination of family names. (Not happening either). Whatever we decide Chad will get to be the first to share on D day.

Look at his little nose and mouth, you can tell already that he is so handsome! Congratulations! I'll have to send a boy gift via my momma to your momma which will hopefully make it to you... or I can just mail it to you... that might happen faster!
