Just for Nana

Here is an 11-week belly shot, just for Nana. Chad and I agree that the picture doesn't do justice for the changes we are seeing. I'll be pinning him down to take a 13-week shot later because, to me anyway, it is a BIG difference. I'm in a weird stage clothing-wise. My regular clothes don't quite fit right anymore (lots of rubber bands through button holes) but maternity clothes are still too big. My drawstring p.j.'s (AKA the "fat girl pants") are my favorite item of clothing right now.

I visited the "regular" doctor the week before last. I didn't report because, frankly, the visit was very boring. Welcome to normal pregnant life. I definitely don't feel "special" anymore! He seemed very nice, but the visit was quick! He did an abdominal ultrasound and I could see the little guy move, but no distinguishable features. It was blurry. They did more blood work and told me to come back in 4 weeks. 4 WEEKS?!? This is an adjustment after my weekly visits at the other place! We are also scheduled for an ultrasound visit in December. I'll be 19 weeks by then, so we're hoping we can find out the sex. (It's a boy.)

I have regressed somewhat with the nausea. I was feeling good for a couple of weeks, but have had a rough week. I'm sure it will get better again, right?? Otherwise, everything is going GREAT. No crazy bleeding issues. Just normal pregnant things. Life is good. :0)
