He's Baaaaack

Football season is over. This is when a lovely transformation takes place.

Chad turns from "Coach Haynes" into "Husband Haynes" overnight. The first week after the season ended he had all of the lights up on the house...before I ever got home from work.

I got home one day and he had vacuumed, unloaded the dishwasher, and exchanged out a load of laundry.

It truly is the most wonderful time of the year!

We spent Thanksgiving in Dallas at Chad's parents' house. They had invited my parents to drive down from MO (they did) so it was really a blast to visit with everyone all at once. My mom finally got over her fears of our dog Charlie (as you can see). There was a lot of recliner relaxing going on all weekend. I only got one picture of John and he was cleaning up after all of us (par for the weekend). Poor Emie came down with the flu/cold so I spared her the camera...this time.

And in baby news, we went to the doctor the day before Thanksgiving and all is well. We got to hear the heartbeat and it sounded strong and great. Baby Haynes turned 4 months old the day after Thanksgiving! We go back December 9th for our ultrasound visit. We were told we will find out the sex that day. We can't wait! We'll share the news as soon as we hear. We won't be sharing names, though...that's for Chad to share on delivery day.

Happy Holidays to all of you!

Thanksgiving was a blast-it was extra special to be invited to John and Emie's celebration this year...........the perfect jump-start to the holiday season. Mommy Holly and Chad Dad seem happy and content while waiting for baby Haynes........
I do love Charlie-it's great to be over the German Shepherd phobia!
