Worth the Wait

This is going to be the last baby post for awhile...

I went back to the doctor today and tests confirmed that I am not ovulating, but also that Chad has a minor issue of his own. So we're hit with a double whammy of fertility issues. Chad, being Mr. Positive and Mr. Supportive as always said, "At least it's not just you." We're truly in this together now! :0)

We have been referred to a reproductive endocrinologist in Webster (about 20 min from Baytown). We will both be treated. There is still A LOT we can do both on our own and through the doctor. It's going to be a little difficult to make frequent visits with football and school starting up, but we've both committed to taking 1/2 a sick day in the mornings if needed. There are several natural remedies I'm checking into as well. We both already lead a pretty healthy lifestyle, but we're going to make a few changes there, too. I will wait to talk to my new doctor, but my present doctor says most likely I will be on medication or injections to induce ovulation, then they will likely do intrauterine insemination. (This is not In Vitro)

So, after crying the whole way home from the dr.'s office, then pulling myself back into positive thinking, then crying all over again when I talked to Chad on his lunch break, I am officially "pulled back together." A lot of couples have trouble conceiving and we knew we would probably be one of those couples before we started trying. Whatever happens, Little Haynes will be more than worth the wait! We will not be posting any more baby news until the only wait we have is the 9 months 'til due date!
